About

This is my little blog where I’ll detail any info I find (or learn from others) about the “Circle with Disney” network filtering device.

Hello – I’m oz_paulb.  I’m an embedded software developer in my main job, and have an interest in reverse-engineering other devices (especially ‘locked down’ devices).  I was part of the original Xbox-Linux team, was responsible for the “LBA48 patch” that allowed the original Xbox to use hard drives over 128GB (the previous limit).  I’ve done some limited work on AppleTV and iPhone, but really didn’t have much time to dedicate to it.

The Circle looked interesting, so I ordered one and just started looking at it (today: 21 April 2016)

Contacting me: If you wish to email me, I have a hotmail.com account with the same user name as I do on this blog.
